As of July 01st, 2003 the EC Directive 94/9/EC (ATEX 95) applies for equipment and protective systems intended for use in potentially explosive athmospheres.
In conformity with it VOSSLOH KIEPE provides ATEX approved pull rope emergency switches and belt drift swichtes for the use in areas with flammable dusts.
According to the approval the products carry the designation Ex II 2 D IP65 T85°C and are applied in areas (Zones) 21 and 22.

With the ATEX products VOSSLOH KIEPE answers to a fundamental change of the standards for explosion protection in Europe and provides suitable devices for appropriate applications with the well - known and proven KIEPE quality.
